Beyond beginners workshop: Market bag
For crocheters who know the basics and are ready to take on a fun, practical project. In this relaxed workshop, you’ll learn how to crochet a market bag while building your confidence and adding new skills along the way. We’ll work through the pattern together, covering the techniques needed to shape and construct your bag, with plenty of guidance whenever you need it. Perfect if you’re comfortable with the basic crochet stitches but would like some support taking on a complete project.
Classes are kept small (8 people) so everyone gets a hand when they need one.

- Kit provided (yarn, hook, stitch markers)

Your teacher
Hannah Strobos
Hannah is a lover of all things textiles and crafty, with a particular passion for crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing and journalling. Many of her skills have been passed down through generations of her family, from her mum, grandma and great-grandma, alongside plenty of self-taught techniques and creative exploration.
When she's not crafting, Hannah is studying psychology at Curtin University and has spent the past four years working as a swim instructor, teaching children, teenagers and women from diverse backgrounds.
Hannah loves the challenge and satisfaction of learning something new and, most importantly, the connections that are made along the way. She's excited to share her skills and help others discover the joy of creating by hand.
