Thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. I have done a lot of crochet but feel I’ve never mastered some of the finer points. I came away having picked up some good tips to improve my work. Hannah was an excellent teacher. Would love to do some more complex workshops with her. Many thanks for organising this class and to Hannah for her great teaching.
The class was so perfect. I started out overwhelmed, however Hannah was caring and helpful, so knowledgeable. Please pass onto Hannah that I have completed a number of granny Squares and her notes have been so helpful. Thank you.
Hannah did an excellent job with a range of skill levels in the class. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic - a lovely combination. Great to have the classes back … will certainly be coming back for more!
I really enjoyed the class. Hannah was a fabulous teacher - her instructions were very clear. The other class members were lovely, and I plan to continue my crochet journey.
Intro to Granny Squares
For crocheters who know the basics and are ready to take the next step. We’ll cover working in the round, changing colours, joining rounds and reading a simple pattern, with plenty of guidance along the way.
Classes are kept small (8 people) so everyone gets a hand when they need one.
Included in your class:
- Kit provided (yarn, hook, stitch markers)
Location: 15 / 180 Rokeby Rd, Subiaco WA 6008
Who’s coming? We’ll have a spot and materials ready for each name.
Your teacher
Hannah Strobos
Hannah is a lover of all things textiles and crafty, with a particular passion for crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing and journalling. Many of her skills have been passed down through generations of her family, from her mum, grandma and great-grandma, alongside plenty of self-taught techniques and creative exploration.
When she's not crafting, Hannah is studying psychology at Curtin University and has spent the past four years working as a swim instructor, teaching children, teenagers and women from diverse backgrounds.
Hannah loves the challenge and satisfaction of learning something new and, most importantly, the connections that are made along the way. She's excited to share her skills and help others discover the joy of creating by hand.
