Beyond beginners workshop: Granny Squares
For crocheters who know the basics and are ready to take the next step. In this relaxed workshop, you’ll learn how to make the classic granny square while building confidence with your crochet skills. We’ll cover working in the round, changing colours, joining rounds and reading a simple pattern, with plenty of guidance along the way.
Classes are kept small (8 people) so everyone gets a hand when they need one.

- Kit provided (yarn, hook, stitch markers)

Your teacher
Hannah Strobos
Hannah is a lover of all things textiles and crafty, with a particular passion for crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing and journalling. Many of her skills have been passed down through generations of her family, from her mum, grandma and great-grandma, alongside plenty of self-taught techniques and creative exploration.
When she's not crafting, Hannah is studying psychology at Curtin University and has spent the past four years working as a swim instructor, teaching children, teenagers and women from diverse backgrounds.
Hannah loves the challenge and satisfaction of learning something new and, most importantly, the connections that are made along the way. She's excited to share her skills and help others discover the joy of creating by hand.
