Lenny Mud Mushrooms Yarn Bowl

Somebody has been foraging. Fly agarics in their spotted red caps, fat porcini, ferns, acorns and blackberries are painted the whole way around in the manner of an old field guide, so there is always one more waiting as you turn the bowl. Your wool has never sat anywhere so autumnal.

Handmade in Lenny Mud’s New Jersey studio from stoneware clay, fired twice to over 1,000°C. Roughly 15.9cm across and 8.9cm high, with a J shaped hook in the rim to feed your working yarn through. A yarn bowl keeps the ball from rolling off and tangling, and gives a project somewhere to sit between rows.
